The primary issue was the frequent underestimation of transport routes for devices traveling to customers, from the delivery point to the final installation of the laser in the customer’s facility. The responsibility for mapping the route often fell on the customer or, in the best-case scenario, the client had to send a representative to assess the route themselves, incurring costs of several thousand euros.
Another challenge was the remote guidance of customers for the initial setup of the machine or for servicing it.
We created a precise digital twin of the product, allowing customers to thoroughly explore the product in detail before ordering. At the same time, the application enables an accurate calculation of the transport route, taking into account potential collision points. This information is sent as a 3D record to the central office for evaluating the optimal approach for transporting the machine.
An additional feature is online customer-to-technician connectivity. Technicians can remotely guide customers for any necessary manipulations of the machine.
Route planning optimization
The platform allows for detailed virtual measurement and analysis of the entire transportation route, identification of potential collision points and obstacles before physical delivery. This 3D mapped data is sent directly to headquarters for optimal route planning and development of transportation strategy.
Digital twin technology
We have created an accurate digital replica of the laser system that can be thoroughly explored before ordering. This allows customers and logistics teams to understand the spatial requirements and potential challenges before the physical device arrives.
Remote technical support
The solution includes an innovative remote connection feature that allows technicians to guide customers through all the necessary device handling, setup procedures, or maintenance tasks. This real-time visual guidance system significantly reduces the need for onsite technical visits.
